Supply Chain Tracking Process:
  • Extraction: Mining companies extract minerals
    • Key Data Captured: GPS location, mineral quantity & quality, environmental impact
    • Usage: Ensures traceability from origin & compliance with environmental standards
  • Processing: Raw minerals are processed into usable materials (if applicable)
    • Key Data Captured: Type of processing, process yield, energy consumption
    • Usage: Tracks material transformation & ensures processing transparency
  • Transport & Shipping: Processed materials are transported & shipped overseas
    • Key Data Captured: Shipping details, customs documentation, handling instructions
    • Usage: Provides visibility into material movement & regulatory compliance
  • Manufacturing: Processed or raw materials are used in manufacturing
    • Key Data Captured: Production details, quality control, resource usage
    • Usage: Monitors conversion into finished products, ensuring quality & compliance
  • Distribution: Finished products are distributed to retailers or end-users
